He is Board Certified in Consumer and Commercial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and he has been practicing law since 1976 with either law firms or as a sole practitioner. He was originally licensed to practice in Missouri, and he has been licensed in Texas since 1985. During the early part of his career, he primarily represented plaintiffs in various types of personal injury matters, ranging from automobile collisions to medical malpractice and products liability. He also assisted injured employees and disabled individuals as they sought to recover Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability benefits to which they were entitled.

For the past few years Mr. Anton's practice has continued to evolve, and he continues to provide individuals and small businesses with a voice in courts at every level. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits of various types and across a wide range of issues. He has handled and continues to handle divorces, child custody and support disputes, and other matters arising in the area of Family Law. He represents debtors who seek relief from the Bankruptcy Courts, and he represents consumers who have suffered damages at the hands of various types of service providers, such as automobile repairs or home construction. He also handles general office matters, such as representing parties in real estate transactions and preparing wills and simple estate plans.
